Beyond the workshop room

Alongside the series we hold public lectures, reading groups, policy labs and the occasional long dinner. Most events are open to everyone; some are reserved for members. Participation is by application so we can keep rooms small enough for real conversation.

A monthly slow-reading group open to members. We take one classic per season and read it properly.

Policy Lab: Drafting an Industrial Strategy

A full-day simulation in which participants draft, defend and negotiate a regional industrial strategy in front of a panel of practitioners.

Public lectures

Open to all. A guest, a moderator and an hour of questions. Held two or three times a year in a larger venue.

Reading groups

Members only. One classic per season, read slowly and argued over monthly in a bookshop after hours.

Policy labs

Full-day simulations in which participants draft and defend a real policy in front of practitioners.

Community

Assemblies, dinners and aperitivi. The part of the programme where the arguments continue informally.
