Join the circle
Membership of il cangatto is free and open to anyone willing to read, listen and argue in good faith. Because we keep rooms small, we ask everyone to apply. Tell us who you are and which series or workshops you would like to join.
Who can apply
Students, researchers, practitioners, journalists, civil servants and curious citizens. No formal background in economics is required — a willingness to do the reading is.
What we expect
Attend the workshops you sign up for, read the one or two texts assigned beforehand, and contribute to the conversation. Sessions are held under the Chatham House rule.
How it works
Applications are read by the committee on a rolling basis. You will hear from us within two weeks. Places for each series are confirmed about a month before it begins; you can apply to a single workshop, a whole series or the circle in general.
Cost
Participation is free. Printed readings are provided. Donations are welcome but never expected.
