Membership of il Cangatto is free and open to anyone willing to read, listen and discuss in good faith. Because we keep rooms small, we ask everyone to apply before showing up. Tell us who you are and which series or workshops you would like to join.
Who can apply
Students, researchers, practitioners, civil servants and curious young people. No formal training or expertise in the relevant field is required, only a willingness to do the reading is.
What we expect
Attend the workshops you sign up for, read the texts assigned beforehand, and participate in the conversation. Although each and all are invited to speak, it is not obligatory.
How it works
Applications are read by the management committee on a rolling basis. Deadlines are set to facilitate internal organization: applying after a deadline does not prejudice your participation. You will hear from us within a week or on time to participate in the first requested seminar.
Places for each series are confirmed as soon as possible; you can apply to a single workshop, a whole series or the circle in general.
In cases where you would like to participate in more than one workshop, but not an entire series—or where you would like to participate in workshops across different series—please apply separately for each individual workshop.
Costs
Participation is free. Donations are welcome but never expected.
