Governing Growth: A Conversation with Peter A. Hall
The Postwar Transformations of Capitalism & Democracy

About the event
Peter A. Hall’s Governing Growth traces eighty years of capitalism & democracy in Europe and the United States, developing the concepts of growth and representation regimes to show how each economic era decides whose voices count in politics & why today’s knowledge economy has left our democracies so divided. In this special seminar, participants will have the opportunity to discuss the book in depth with Hall himself, examining how his approach relates to competing analyses of postwar developments. Participants will prepare by reading two chapters of Governing Growth beforehand, which will be sent upon registration.
